DO'S
- have a neat handwritting, but not fancy
- follow the instructions given correctly.
- present your facts and answers clearly.
- avoid clutter i.e unnecessary use of many words
- complete your sentences
- back up your answers by giving examples
- use everyday, down to earth facts
- answer the questions asked. to maintain relevace.
- where possible, use examples and anecdotes in your answers
- begin well and end well
DONT'S
- going off topic and writting irrelevance
- using a cumbersome language with unclear meaning
- using an ilegible handwriting
- using disorganised facts
- using vague and not clearly thought out answers
- waffling and taking too long to answer questions
- winding up your conclusions without backing them up by facts
- being cocky and showy in your answers
- having a small handwriting that is too hard to read, most examiners are almost blind
- keep crossing out what you have written and presenting messy papers
