HELB disburses funds directly to students to help cover tuition, accommodation, and upkeep during their studies. Once the money is released, it is sent to the institution for fees and to the student’s account for personal support. After completing your course and getting a job or source of income, repayment begins. The loan is paid back in manageable monthly installments, and early repayment is encouraged because it reduces interest and penalties. This cycle of receiving and later returning the funds helps keep the scheme running so that new students can also benefit.

At its heart, HELB is not just a financial aid program—it’s a launchpad for possibility. It transforms “I wish” into “I will,” giving students the power to chase ambitions that once felt out of reach. With every loan disbursed, HELB is planting seeds of hope, nurturing talent, and unlocking futures that will shape Kenya’s tomorrow.

So as you pursue your studies, walk boldly. The support you hold isn’t just money—it’s belief. It’s a reminder that your dreams are valid, your goals are within reach, and your story is still being written. With HELB by your side, the future isn’t just bright—it’s yours to create.
